Found my Camera Cord

I finally found my camera cord! It was under a mound of toys upstairs in the playroom. Hmmmm, wonder how it got there. Marshall is the sneaky one so I blame him :-)

I don't think I have posted pictures in almost a month so here goes.

Silver, gold and bronze faux metal frame. Available in any size and any metallic finish.

I had a wild hair and made a ton of burlap pillows. I have a 9 foot church pew that I am in the process of refinishing and most of these will go on there. Let me know if you are interested in some custom burlap pillows. Any design, word, saying, verse, monogram, etc. in black or brown. Burlap is available in light and dark.

Large horse painting. I originally was making this for a western kids room but ended up loving it in my kitchen. Painting is 32x32 and is done on plank boards. I can do a variety of diffrent designs.

The next set of before/after pictures are wooden cornice boards from my friends house. These are original cornice boards from the house that was built in the 50's. If you are interested in custom cornice boards I have a fabulous carpenter who can build them.

I have no idea what happened to my website but it has vanished somewhere in cyperspace. I am still here and working away and will try to get that up again as soon as possible.

I have also misplaced my camera cord and am unable to download photos of the furniture and fireplaces I have recently completed. Planning to order a new cord this week so look for pictures to be up by the weekend.

Coming soon: Custom burlap vintage pillows! I know that is random for me because most of my stuff involves wood but I made a few for myself and can't resist putting them out there for you too.

I am booked on furniture for the next 4 - 5 weeks so get on the waiting list! If I put one more piece of someone else's furniture in my garage or paint room my husband will KILL me. I am currently putting people on the waiting list to start mid May.

Distressed Handpainted Furniture

This table below was a stained table from the late 70's early 80's. I refinished it with an aqua blue color, faux copper tile top, lots of aging and distress and added some nail head for additional character.

I LOVE new projects! My current addiction is refinishing furniture. Do you have an old piece that could use a makeover? Take a picture (cell phone pic is fine) sent it to me and I will give you a quote. If you don't have a piece of furniture but you want something to make a statement, go look at goodwill or hit up garage sales.

Over the next few months I will be posting pieces to sell so check back I might have something just perfect for you!

New Frame Design

Frames with patterns. This frame holds an 8x10 photo and is actually a frame on top of a frame. Outside dimensions are 26x28 (HUGE!) Vintage white, Black and Gold with dimond pattern. This frame design can hang horizontal or vertical.

This is an XL 8x10. Harvest background, Black scroll pattern with added bronze nail head.

This frame will be beautiful in just about any color. Deep Red and black, Vintage white and gold, Soft pink and white (with pearls instead of nail head). Options are endless and this frame design can hang horizontal or vertical.

New Personalized Frames

I have not named this frame style yet so if you have any ideas let me know. This style has outside dimensions of 19x19 and holds a 5x5 photo. Moulding style can be wavy (like the example photo), plain moulding or rope moulding. Font style for the single word can be changed. Frame and moulding can be done in any color combination.

Giving to Haiti

Hello Friends and Fans!
I have been praying for the people of Haiti as I watch the news coverage. How amazing that they are still pulling people out! They had so little before the disaster and now they have nothing but hope. Hope that others will help.

I feel like I can immediately help by giving money so.....

New Products!!

I recently purchased a vinyl cutter mainly to use on my frames and make stencils for faux finishing furniture, walls and other projects. I don't plan to have a big vinyl cutting business for wall graphics but.....I just can't help it! I am so excited about all the endless possibilities with this machine so I must share.

Place an order for vinyl wall words between now and January 30th (Extended until Monday, February 8th) and pay $5.00 per small item (10inches x 10 inches or smaller), $10 for medium size items (16 inches x 16 inches) and $15 for large items. I can cut up to 24 inches one way and as long as you would want - up to 10 yards. Colors I have in stock for the promotion special are Black, Dark brown, light brown (tan) and white. ***This is a great deal*** Especially for the some of the detailed fonts I have listed below.




I am in the process of putting this on a wall in my house (pictures to follow). This is a very detailed font and does take patience and time to place on your wall, mirror or wherever you would want to stick it.

Font examples for single letter monogram, three letter monogram and names. I have hundreds of fonts. I will be glad to send you a few proofs in different fonts.

Family name crest. Available in any size up to 24 inches.

I used this crest for the back splash in my kitchen.

If you are unfamiliar with vinyl wall words it is basically a sticker that can be stuck on almost any surface. I will include detailed application instructions with each order. It does not stick very well to heavily textured walls - especially if it is a gloss or high gloss paint.

Finally my Completed Mantle

So, we have lived in our house almost 4 months and I have finally finished my fireplace and accent wall. Below is a before pictures and if you scroll through older post you will see pics of the progress along the way.
What was done:
1. Added decorative overlay to fireplace
2. painted fireplace
3. antiqued fireplace
4. Painted dark walnut on wall behind fireplace
